During the Great Depression the teachers continued to teach even though they would either get paid little or not at all ,because i think they wanted to see the student get a education and have them feel smart and have them succeed. The motivation they had was to see their students succeed. If I was a teacher during that time and i could choose to teach or to leave.I would stay and teach because i would want to see the students succeed and become what they want. For example, if the student or students don't get it i'm not going to leave them i'm going to stay and teach them.If I saw a teacher quit i would ask him/her students about what they were learning and i would try to teach them.I don't really know what factors i would weigh in this situation, but i would think about the student and where they are at in the lesson.
